Before having my daughter I used to run a business. And I also run a business now. And I can tell you it’s a lot harder now than it was before having children, which is why I am a great supporter of groups and initiatives for mums in business. And one of my passions is to help mums in business get clarity around what they uniquely have to offer the world and how to package that into a successful buisness.
The Mpower National Business Awards
When it comes to helping mums moving their business forward by getting clarity and building the right foundations right from the start, I feel passionate about lighting the path and the fire underneath Mums to help them achieve their dreams.
Which is why I’m honoured to be part of the team that bring the Mpower National Business Awards to Mums in Business, and have been a Judge two years in a row. The awards recognise what it takes to ‘make it’ as a mum in business. And with nominees across 14 different categories, I’ve read some amazing stories. So many mums out there are creating brilliant businesses they love while putting their family first. And it’s incredibly inspiring to see.
This is something that resonates with me and that I hold close to my heart. Because – Ladies and Gentlemen – the struggle is real. Building a business while also being there for your family is challenging. Let’s talk about the school runs, the swimming lessons, and the reduced hours. But also about the remembering of all the stuff, the consistently growing out of clothes and shoes, the homework, and the general trying to raise a decent human being with good values, all the while teaching them about managing their emotions.
Before I had my daughter I had none of that. And as beautiful as it is and as grateful as we all are for our families, all of this takes up extra space not only in our day, but also in our brains, our energy, and our emotions. And it’s okay to get some help! Running a business and a family can be hard, which is why I’m so proud of all the fabulous ladies who get to be celebrated at the Mpower National Business Awards.
But my involvement with Mpower doesn’t stop there.
The Mpower Business Accelerator programme, or MBA
This Autumn Mpower launches a Business Accelerator programme, or MBA – as we like to call it – for mums in business. The programme covers the essential foundations you need to build a successful business on your terms. And if you’ve been following my blog or my posts on LinkedIn, you’ll know this is something I’m very passionate about.
So I’m delighted to be one of the four experts delivering this programme, which covers:
- And making sales
By the end of the programme, you will know how to build and grow a successful business and a life that you love. So if you’ve been working hard on your business but aren’t seeing the results you want yet, together with experts Nicola Huelin, Emily Thorpe, and Tracey Wall, I’m here to help you get unstuck and give you:
- the tools,
- the knowledge,
- and the insight and guidance
you need to succeed with the full support of the Mpower family. No other programme out there offers all these combined elements and certainly not with this much face-to-face support and direct access to experts in their field (myself included!).
So if you feel you’d like to accelerate your business, make more money, and develop the mindset you need for success, I’d love to be able to support you through this programme.
The Mpower Business Accelerator programme – how does it work?
The 6-month MBA is a group programme and is only available to a small number of delegates. Kicking off in Autumn 2019, the MBA includes a mixture of:
- Face-to-face learning events
- Online learning material
- And access to the Mpower Business Accelerator community. The group is there to provide support and keep you accountable.
I am proud to be bringing my 20+ years of experience to the table and have the opportunity to help more mums achieve a buisness and life they love.
The support I offer in the MBA programme is inspired by the #BrandBeforeLogo work I do with my one-to-one clients. So if you’ve been considering working with me, this is a great opportunity to get access to me in a group setting and still get my expertise as well as that of three other brilliant business and mindset coaches. ( Who are all totally fabulous and I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do)
If you’d like to be the first to find out more and receive a full information pack and an early-bird notification when the MBA opens for registration, click on this link to register your interest.
What happens with your #BrandBeforeLogo work?
In case you’re worried (or simply wondering), I will continue to offer my 121#BrandBeforeLogo mentoring packages which help you find the clarity you need for impact and success.
Once you have clarity things start to really change for you and for your business – you can read more about that in my post Brand messaging before and after – a tale of transformation.
When it comes to the Mpower Business Acceleration programme, I’m joining forces with people (and a cause) I admire and respect. And I’ll also continue to work under my own brand so if you’ve been putting off working with me (or have just found about me), fear not!
Would you like to work with me on a one-to-one basis?
Doesn’t the MBA sound amazing? If you feel a group programme is for you right now, I’m excited to work with you and help you get unstuck when it comes to getting clarity, confidence and attracting ideal clients. Here’s the link to register your interest again.
However, if you’d rather go for one-to-one, personalised support and get my help to get the clarity you need to either get unstuck and move forward in the right way or to evolve and pivot your business, then get in touch and book a FREE 40-minute consultation call with me.
